lecture Art

Dear readers,
You have made me so happy. So apparently more people read this collection of thoughts and conclusions than I expected. It feels good to know my 'time and effort' are not going to waste.
This is not a blog entry exactly, just a thank you.
But while I'm at it, I'd like your opinion on something:
A few weeks back, during some boring lecture or other I drew this:

And then during the past six hours of lecture, I got bored again, and decided to photoshop this. It's my first Anime on photoshop:

So, a simple question really:
Which do you prefer?
Or any other comment you wish to share.

Yes, Matt I know about the hair issue.

A proper blog will follow soon. No worries.
Until then
Out

Hey!!! I'm commenting on ur blog page! :)
so... i do like the photoshop version... yep.. i do.
to be honest I've been looking at them both, almost like playing 'spot the difference'. I've paid specific attention to the eyes, which I personally think are more expressive in the pen drawing... looking more carefully actually, the pen drawing seems to be more expressive as a whole. so I guess my opinion is.. pen drawing. you know me and expression, i adore expression...

To be fair cettina, a pen is a much more personal matter, it will always be more personal....Sim i prefer the photoshop version for one simple reason...i dont like the ball point biro you used. If you get into pen drawings i think youd find yourself at greater ease because of the more precise strokes a pen can give and apart from that i just LOVE pen art

Definitely pen drawing!...not that I don't like the photoshop version...I like the sea in the background...but the pen drawing really is more expressive! :)

I actually felt that the eyes in the photoshop version were more expressive, so I'd go for that :)
